Silhouetted against the skyline of Pala stands the high perches of Chavara Public School. Nestled in the Chavara Campus amongst the CMI Monastry, the Chapel, the St. Vincent School and the Angels’ Nest is the Senior Secondary Block. Whilst plodding into this imposing section, a warm and homely ambience greets us.
This Temple of Learning has churned out thousands into the wide world of Doctors, Engineers, Accountants, Captains of Industry and many others, working both abroad and in India.
Walking down the aisle leading to four storeys of classrooms, computer lab, library, auditorium. All these cannot be overlooked. Well ventilated, spacious, clean and well-equipped classrooms with a capacity of holding forty students each, spans over four floors.
The courses offered are on the streams of science and commerce. The subject combinations of Science are: PCMB, PCMC, PCBIP and that of Commerce are: Commerce Maths and Commerce IP.
The conduct of the different streams of science and commerce are promoted and supported by well-furnished and well-equipped labs and a well-stocked library.
Spiritual enforcement meetings, study and life-enhancing classes, activities and programmes, common meetings, functions are convened regularly in the school auditorium that can accommodate around 800 students at a time.

ELIGIBILITY

Students from any Syllabus (CBSE, ICSE, IGCSE, State, etc.) with good character and conduct, and with proper motivation and willingness to work seriously.
CBSE & ICSE: A minimum of 90% of marks in all Subjects in Class X.
SSLC & Other Boards: A+ grade in all academic Subjects in Class X.

SELECTION

Provisional selection is on the basis of the result of the Aptitude Test. The final list will be published after the declaration of the Board Results.

How to Apply Online

Plus One admission is given on the basis of the Aptitude Test, Personal Interview, and Board Results. Separate Tests for native candidates & candidates who are in Gulf Countries.

TEST I: SUNDAY, 4TH FEBRUARY 2024 (FOR THE STUDENTS OF GULF REGION ONLY)

Online Registration Starts: 1st December 2023
Last Date for Registration: 31st January 2024
Exam Date: 4th February 2024
Result: within one week after the Test.
Application and Exam Fee: 350 UAE Dirham
Test Location: will be intimated later.

The school and hostel fees for all students will be the same. No additional fee for NRIs.

TEST II: SCHOOL CAMPUS APTITUDE TEST (FOR NATIVE CANDIDATES)

Online Registration Starts: 1st December 2023
Last Date for Online Registration: 31st March 2024
Exam Date: Selected by the Candidate
Exam Venue : CHAVARA PUBLIC SCHOOL, PALA
Exam Duration: 1.30 hrs
Result: within one week after each Test

Take a printout of the Online Admit Card with a photo. (Mandatory)
This Admit Card must be produced at the time of the Aptitude Test. Admit Card without photo is invalid and the candidate will not be allowed to appear for the exam.
Applications received after the specified date will be rejected. Aptitude Test is mandatory for admission. No refund of the application fee.
Applicants are requested to check the school website, email, and SMS regularly for all the information and notifications related to admission.

NB: Class X students of this school (Chavara Public School, Pala) will have separate Tests for Class XI admission.

Once the registration form is submitted successfully, you will receive a confirmation message of Online Payment of registration and an Admit Card will be generated with a Test date. Retain it for further correspondence.
